In Mongolia, as you walk along the streets and see children all around, you might meet children like Togos whose dream as a grown-up is to help children become a strong generation to transform the entire community…
Mongolia is a very poor country with high unemployment, leaving a majority of the population without life’s basic necessities. As you enter any Mongolian city or town, the first things you will notice is children everywhere, as families are very large. Unfortunately, many parents are alcoholics who leave their kids to fend for themselves on the streets all summer. They are not taught life skills and have no opportunity to just be kids growing up in a healthy environment.
Over the past five years, Grain of Wheat has been on a mission to change this through a vibrant camp ministry. Many of these impoverished kids like young Togos, now dream of serving children one day as a camp counsellor.
This generation of new believers is already moving mountains as their strong faith in Christ is transforming an entire community!
